The Challenge
Create an original virtual reality film capable of demonstrating that VR can be more than an interactive medium. The objective was to build an emotionally driven cinematic experience where storytelling, visual art and immersive technology became inseparable.
The project also marked Unloop’s first original VR production, setting a new creative benchmark for the studio.

Creative Approach
Inspired by folklore and the relationship between humanity and nature, every aspect of the experience was carefully crafted to evoke emotion rather than spectacle.
Characters and environments were modelled entirely in 3D, enhanced with custom shaders that recreate the softness and texture of traditional watercolor paintings. Every animation, lighting decision and visual composition was designed to support the rhythm of the story.
The original score by Noiserv, combined with bespoke spatial sound design, transforms the experience into an intimate journey where visuals, music and narrative unfold as one.

Technology

The production combines artistic craftsmanship with immersive technologies.

Why It Matters

The Girl Who Speaks with the Wild-ish Horses represents Unloop’s belief that technology should never replace storytelling. Instead, it should deepen emotional connection and create experiences that audiences can truly feel.

As the studio’s first original VR production, the project reflects our commitment to exploring new ways of telling stories where art, emotion and technology become a single experience.
